Another Goal Achieved

I wanted to share with you my latest goal achievement and exactly how it happened.

I was in Egypt, jobless, this was the end of June this year. I had a flight ticket to fly home to the UK for 5 weeks on 26th June. Skip forward to me going to the UK. I was embarrassed to tell anyone I was jobless. I spent my time sending emails applying for various jobs in Egypt and overseas as well. All the time I was saying to myself, "I will have interviews lined up for when I return to Egypt, I will find the perfect job with more money, more prospects, more annual leave, and, I will receive more than one job offer."

So, there I was in the UK. I was on edge but, trying to stay positive at the same time. I remained in UK for 5 weeks. I used various healing techniques on myself as well as the Law of Attraction.

I have to say that, not only was I jobless, I was also almost penniless as well. I had an apartment in Egypt which I continued to rent when I was vacationing in the UK. But, I also didn't have the means to pay anymore rent.

So, I am sure you can imagine the scene...jobless, almost penniless, living in a 3rd World country where I just lived through it's revolution and totally alone.

Still, I have always been successful whenever I have travelled and with that thought in mind, I returned to Egypt 22nd August.

Right on que, the first day I received a phone call about a job interview. This continued a further 3 times. Still no job 2 weeks later. I was invited to a party. So I told my friend I was going as it may be a good opportunity for me to meet new people and possibly land myself a job.

So, I go to the party. And, would you believe it but, one of the first people I chatted to arranged an interview for me at his place of work, and it seemed like he really went out of his way to do this for me, almost as if he felt compelled. It's amazing to look back on that party night now because, I went for the arranged interview and, was offered the job. Having said that, I was not too sure about accepting it. I had another job offer (just as I thought I would do) so it was a toss up between one job or the other. I turned the job down which was arranged for me at the party. I even phoned the interviewer and told her I was sorry but I am accepting another job but, (and I am sure you won't believe this, as I couldn't believe it myself), the woman I spoke to was extremely nice on the phone and proceeded to tell me all the reasons why I should accept the job with her, even though I had just turned it down. She spoke about it for ages, in fact, she didn't want me to decline her offer. She proceeded to tell me all the reasons why I should accept the job for a full 20 minutes, Wow!!! This was a weird conversation one of which I have never experienced before. When I got off the phone after saying that I would think about it, I told my friend that this was spooky phone call and she agreed.

A couple of hours later the following thought struck me. I, LUCY TERRY had literally caused this to happen to ME using The Law of Attraction just as I had said it would happen in June, so I was definitely gonna accept that job. If I didn't, the work the Universe did for me would have been in vain and a complete waste of time (on the Universe's part and mine). Anyway, I am happy to say that I did start the job on the 4th Sept and have not regretted my decision.

Looking forward to receiving the increase in salary, stacks more annual vacation time plus, being paid all throughout the summer holidays, in full. Oh, and health insurance too.

THE POWER

Just wanted to chat with you all about the fantastic new book written by Rhonda Byrne, (the person who wrote The Secret book) called The Power.

"What this power is, I cannot say, all I know is that it exists." Alexandra Graham Bell.

The Power is another simple method of putting The Law of Attraction into practice. Easier to grasp than The Secret. The book speaks of love, gratitude and feeling good as being the keys to achieving anything in your life, whether it be health, wealth, happiness or whatever. Sounds too simple to be true doesn't it? Well, actually, it is, very simple.

Firstly, every decision each one of makes in life is based on love or not love. If you want to make a decision based on love, look at how you are actually feeling about it. If it feels good, go with that, if it feels bad, you know it's probably not the right decision based on what you say you want to achieve.

I will give you a few examples...

If you are involved in a confrontation with someone try to think of something, anything you love about that person. I know it may sound like the last thing you would think of trying, but, if you do this, it could change the direction in which the confrontation is going.

If you wish to be in perfect health, you need to be on the right energy frequency within which to receive perfect health.

THE UNIVERSE AT WORK.

I am on vacation in Kota Kinabalu, Borneo at the moment. I was experiencing something I didn't want to experience. Then, last nite I started to remember how every time I have been overseas in sticky situations before, all I used to think about was how the Universe would put the people, places and events into my life to resolve the situation and everything will be fine. Well, this is exactly what happened today.

This morning I said "To hell with this situation I am not gonna let it bother me anymore". So, I went out and about and the next thing I knew was the Universe put or rather seemed to force 2 people into my life suddenly, and without warning, they just appeared as if by magic at the precise moment in time I needed them.

It sure is amazing how this Law of Attraction stuff really works.

The Mayan calendar was not something that had a beginning and an end. The Mayans saw the world in cyclical patterns. The winter solstice of Dec 21 2012 is a unique astronomical alignment of the Earth, Moon, Sun with the center of our Galaxy. An event that happens once every 26,000 years. Some great news for me.

3 weeks back I went for a 2nd interview at a school, met with a half Swedish lady, lovely she is. It turns out she is very spiritual as well, this came to light as while I was waiting for her in the conference room, I was reading "The Secret" book.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, she had already made up her mind to offer me a job, it was just a matter of which job. So, it seems she would like me to be her coordinator and also do some teaching in Computer Studies. 1 week later I went back for the 3rd interview and to finalize everything. She had prepared the job description and then said when I start in September proper, I will have a permit where it will show I am a consultant (because I don't have a work permit, so this is a safe and very legal way around this), then, she said I can start on Sunday, work for 2 weeks then get paid for those 2 weeks 1st July in cash, then, start back at the school again on 01 September. Wow!!!...........so, I have accepted this. The salary package is rather good too.

The other thing is, the subject of Reiki healing and Hypnotherapy came up as well, and she has a friend doing Cranial Sacral Therapy and she suggested maybe her friend and I could work together. I am so excited about the prospect of this.

You wont believe how relieved and happy I am. My boyfriend is delighted too, as he thought I would go back to the UK and not come back till Sept. Or maybe he didn?t think I would return at all.

Grrrrrrrrrreat, another goal achieved, and more money too!

Well, this is related to me temporarily working at the new school I mentioned below. Since meeting some foreign teachers, I now have my first Reiki and Hypnotherapy clients. Yipee! another goal is being achieved. I now visualise attracting more and more clients purely by word of mouth.

It’s amazing. I recently commenced temporary part time employment at a different school here in Cairo, teaching English.

I am 100% sure it was the Law of Attraction which attracted me to this job. I didn’t even have a face-to-face interview, just one by phone and I was offered the job. Anyway, to cut a long story short. I have been attempting to get my Law of Attraction website and my other services, Hypnotherapy and Reiki up and running here in Egypt. So, I start working at this new school and meet and spoke with 3 of the teachers who are American and European and living in extremely posh Expat communities in Cairo. The subject of Law of Attraction, Hypnotherapy and Reiki came up and I just decided to go for it and said to them..."If I print some leaflets would you be able to hand them out to the people in your Expat communities"?, and, they all said "YES we would be happy to do this". I was overwhelmed and immediately thought of the Law of Attraction.

So, I am now finalizing my leaflet and, I have my first Reiki and Hypnotherapy client this coming Friday. I am now concentrating heavily on this and hope to move to one of these Expat areas as soon as possible to be near to all these Expat clients, God Willing (as they say here), or should I say...Law of Attraction willing.

Results are coming at last....phew!!!!!.

It was around the 10th April this year. I had a ticket to return to the UK dated 15th April and had the option to either use it or to change it. I really did not want to return, and I kept thinking that I needed a better paying job and the money to change the ticket. I then sent my CV to a company regarding a new job. 24 hours later, I received a call from the company inviting me to attend an interview on that day. I advised them that I was unable to attend on that particular but I said I would think about it and I would revert with a date when I could attend. I did not call them back the next day but they instead phoned me to have a chat about the job. In the conversation we had and with the questions we were asking eachother, I began to realise that I had actually been offered the job without even attending an interview and the start date was the next day. I of course decided to take them up on their kind offer as I realised that the universe had caused this company to hire me and the money was better as well. With regard to the money to changing my ticket...later on that evening I received a call from a very kind friend, during our conversation he insisted he send me the money to change my ticket, so I accepted. Wow! I simply couldnt believe this. Here we go again I thought....this is the Law of Attraction working for me. So, here I still am. I changed my ticket and started the new job.

I have been searching for an apartment here in Cairo for the past month and I am happy to announce one was found for me and I moved in on 20^th March. During this month I was trying very hard to focus my thoughts only on the things I did want i.e. the apartment, and not on the things I didn’t want. However, as is human nature, I did have the occasional lapse in concentration, this was because I was frustrated that all this wasn’t happening quickly enough for me. I occasionally thought that there was a chance I wouldn’t find a flat in time, time was running out and had I not found one, I would have had to change my flight ticket and return to the UK. This I clearly didn’t want to do. In order to get back into the positive rather than negative thinking mode, I did think about all the times I have traveled overseas in the past and how I have always managed to find just what I was looking for just in time, and I was sure it would happen here too. I did have help from the universe though, of that I’m sure. The universe put all the people and events in place especially to help me find my perfect apartment. You wouldn’t believe how all my new found friends here were (and still are) bending over backwards to help me. They all seemed to rush around asking friends, friends of friends and even strangers if they knew of any apartments to rent quickly. Really, I feel so honored to know these people and have them in my life. Thank God for them all. Anyway, one more goal achieved.

The Law of Attraction and how it worked for me and my friend

It was about 8 weeks ago here in Cairo, some friends and I had an experience which at the time was both negative and positive for me. Later I remember thinking that, of course, everything happens for a reason. This thought struck me because, a few weeks after our experience the friend I was staying with in Cairo fell ill and I offered to help in any way I could. Incidentally, my friend did in fact ask me to come to Egypt and stay with her 6 months previously but I didn’t and I know now that it wasn’t meant to be as it wasn’t the right time. Now I do know that I did arrive at the perfect time. There was no one else to help, I was available and I was needed. So the universe rearranged everything in order for me to be here just at the right time in order to carry out this task. My friend was a non believer of all matters spiritual but after the experience I mentioned above in the 1^st paragraph, she became a believer and it just so happened that another friend and I performed Reiki healing on her several times. If we hadn’t had the experience mentioned above, my friend would have remained a non believer and she wouldn’t have been interested in letting us perform Reiki. A week or so after this, I was frustrated because my Laptop was being repaired for a longer period than I’d hoped as it left me without it over a weekend. My friend also has a P.C. which she uses constantly but finished using it one day and invited me to use it to check my emails. I sat in the chair to attempt to do just that but instead fell off the chair because it broke as soon as I sat down in it. Once again, had I not sat in that chair at that very moment, my friend would have, and she would have had a worse injury, so, once again, this is evidence of the Law of Attraction in action. Never doubt that everything happens for a reason, even if the reason doesn’t become clear for a while.
